The Greenwoods' DiaryPrivacy just aint our thing... 11/24/2008 A very long year!How long has it been since i wrote on here?? - over a year!
just goes to prove how much time it takes looking after a baby
 really the time has just flown by... but its not like nothing has happened, Mum moved out in april, and so busy work started on decorating and getting a new fireplace fitted, basically making the house a home... still only halfway there, got bathroom, hallway and main bedroom still to do lol
Sophia has been sleeping through 12 hours every single night since the day she got her own room, which i think is fantastic.
she turned 1 two weeks ago... amazing how fast it goes, she's already toddling about and looks so cute sweet and innocent lol
had to get rid of the Scorpio because it failed its MOT quite badly... still miss it though, it was a truely amazing car. now i'm stuck with a rover 400
 it does the job but its nothing compared to what i had before lolwe had our first wedding anniversary in july... strange that seems ages ago for some reason. we stayed in the same hotel as the wedding night... but we got a better room this year lol
and then perfectly as planned we have another baby on the way!! due exactly 18 months after sophia was born (2nd week of may) hoping this one is a boy!! but we have both names planned just incase; Xander James and Isabelle Katherine
 Just waiting for Xmas to come along now... only 1 payday to go lol ever planned a budget down to the penny? lol
anyways i dont have much more to write now lol so i guess thats it till next year? 11/10/2007 Sophia Elise Greenwood arrives!Yay! baby Sophia was born today at 4:28pm, weighing 6lbs 3.5oz. (2.82Kg)
up to the last half an hour it'd been a perfect pregnancy, not even any morning sickness.
but then they found out that when Viki had a contraction, the babys heart virtually stopped beating...
so it was literally a rush into operating theatre and an emergency caesarian section... and 20 mins later, Sophia popped out, perfectly fine!
I'm absolutely knackered so i'll update this propperly in the morning. (you know what i'm like about updating.... i'll get round to it enjoy the pics!)11/7/2007 Overdue!Baby aint here yet. typical. more on that in a bit... Good news is: We're paying the Rent, Council tax, Gas, Electricity, Water, Phone, and TV license... the house is definitely ours now however it's nice to know we can do what we want when we want and just tell mum we'll kick her out if she don't like it. was finally great to be telling her to put some lights out cuz we pay the electric now lol knew I'd get to put the shoe on the other foot one day getting back to the baby situation... nothing happened on Halloween, of course. midwife visit last Friday said that we gonna have an examination and whatnot on Friday if we not had it by then... so Saturday we went out to the abbey park firework thingy, and vikis started having little contractions every 20 mins or so... thought nothing of it as they weren't exactly bad if you know what I mean. then she's saying she can feel her water trickling a little bit... meh. so when we get home she checks it and thinks that water is leaking slowly. so first things first, rang in work told them waters broke. then we rang the hospital and they saying we gotta go in the morning to confirm waters gone, but come in sooner if contractions get too much to bear or they every 10 mins or so. come 6 in the morning they were down to every 10 mins, but still not exactly as painful as we'd expected... and we goes to hospital. turned out waters hadn't broke and they were just starting up contractions!! needless to say work still aren't very happy with me for having the night off for what turned out to be nothing, but still, what was I supposed to do?? lol well since then these contractions have completely stopped and we back to normal again... one week overdue lol. oh well, will see what the midwife has to say on Friday if nothing happened by then. hopefully it'll be today or tomorrow because I really don't wanna go back to work on Thursday wow longest blog entry I've written in a year lol anyway's I'll go back to playing trivial pursuit whilst we're waiting for this kid to pop along... 10/25/2007 THE HOUSE IS OURS!Great news, mum signed over the tenancy to us this morning... so the house is ours now! best thing is we just take over the tenancy so actually we've been the tenants since 1988 when i was three and viki was one lol. it means we keep all mums discount entitlement and dont have to wait 5 years before we can apply to buy the house! so we can buy it really cheap and sell it on for loads, if we wanted to...
i gotta sort debts out first though
Baby could be any day now, hopefully the 39 week picture will be the last and next photo i upload will be of baby!
just can't wait any longer now lol
work is crap, still waiting to go down to 2 days... should be next week.
*fingers crossed* 10/13/2007 Some UpdatesAs you can see i'm completely useless at keeping this upto date these days... apart from the sometimes late weekly pics of Victorias bump growing... big news this week is we just got all the wedding photos back on disk, so i've uploaded quite a selection.
We've put the cot up aready and it's so cute, there's only 2.5 weeks left to the due date now! i'm so excited but nervous at the same time.
little Xander James or Sofia Elise Greenwood will be here soon... hopefully i'll remember to update this when the big day arrives! |
